Shrink the goal
A goal that only works on perfect days is too fragile.
Make the daily version small enough that you can do it when life is busy.
Plan the restart
You will miss a day. That is normal.
Decide now what you will do the day after you miss. That is where consistency is rebuilt.
Try this today
Write a tiny version of your goal. Then write your restart rule.
Example: If I miss a workout, I take a ten-minute walk the next day.
